How to Make Chaga Tea:

  1. Clean the Chaga Chunks:
    Before brewing, rinse the Chaga chunks under cool water to remove any dirt or debris. Chaga grows on birch trees in remote forests, so a quick rinse ensures you're only left with the purest, nutrient-packed pieces.

  2. Prepare the Tea:

    • For 1 batch of Chaga Tea: Add 4-6 Chaga chunks (roughly 2- tablespoon of chunks) to 4-6 cups of water.
    • Simmer on low heat for 30 minutes to 1 hour, allowing the Chaga to release its nutrients. The longer you simmer, the stronger and richer the tea will be. You can also let it steep for longer or even reheat it for additional batches.
  1. Reuse the Chaga Chunks:
    After your first batch, the Chaga chunks can be reused 2 to 3 times. Simply store the used chunks in a container and refrigerate. When you’re ready to brew another batch, add the used chunks back into the pot with fresh water and simmer as usual. Each batch will yield a slightly lighter flavor, but the chunks still provide a potent, nutrient-rich tea.

  2. Enjoy:
    Strain the Chaga tea and serve hot or chilled. Try it with Turmeric, Ginger and sticks of Cinnamon, sweetened with maple syrup or some local honey, and lime.
