Caloric Restriction

Calorie restriction (Cr) is a current health trend supporting longevity and disease prevention. Cr means reducing average daily caloric intake below what is normal with deprivation of essential nutrients. Fasting means a person does not eat at all or severely limits intake during certain times of the day, week, or month.
